The most insane paper structure I’ve ever seen

Papercut castle by Wataru Itou

Honestly. Would you look at this thing? I might as well pack my shit up right now and call it an artistic day.

Over the course of FOUR YEARS, a Tokyo art student named Wataru Itou designed and cut out this massive paper castle. It is currently on display at a center called Umihotaru, where visitors can also see a video of the construction process.

It looks impressive with different types of lighting, too. Learn more and see more pictures of the castle in all its white, and colorful, glory, at the blog Tokyobling.
